At La Morena, we work hard everyday to distribute only the freshest products to our customers. We work with our growers to make sure all our fruits are carefully selected and harvested at the peak of their maturity. We then process, pack and ship them in a timely manner, guaranteeing that we fulfill our promise of bringing you the world's most delicious avocados. 

SIZING and PLUs

Avocados are sized into categories based upon the weight of the individual fruits. These sizes are named according to the number of fruit needed to fill a 25-poud carton. The larger the size designation, the smaller the fruit. For example a "size 32" avocado refers to the size category where 32 avocados placed in a carton would have a net weight of 25 pounds.

PACKAGING

We offer distinct packaging configurations to support each and every customer's needs including standard 25-lb cartons, display boxes, and mesh-bags. At La Morena, we value our growers and our customers which is why we also offer both Fairtrade and organic avocados. Our family of growers are certified and regularly audited by accredited inspectors and meet all USDA requirements. Available packaging is as follows:

Available in all sizes and bag count based on client specifications and request.
Fairtrade and Organic products are available for any packaging size and type including tray pack, volume fill and mesh bags.
